How many people in your organisation are already working with data and using Excel on a weekly basis? And how many are using it to its fullest potential? Given that most data-led decision making in your organisation will not rely on complex data analysis, just think how much potential there is!
Identifying the most valuable insights depends not only requires tools and tech-based skills but also, relies on the right (and ethical) data question being asked, and the ability to communicate findings accurately through data storytelling and visualisation.
Data-driven decision making breeds confidence. Experience shows that data-enabled people become increasingly self-assured and seek to participate in the business more, helping organisations develop a wider, often more diverse pool of future leader talent.
The best insights are uncovered when you have people who deeply understand the context of the data and the community that the analysis results sit within. Departmental data champions are also well placed to identify time-consuming tasks that lend themselves to automation.
Enabling every team to self-serve data analysis will lead to faster and better-informed decision making that leads to greater business agility.
Removing the dependencies on your data and AI specialists (inc. data analysts, engineers and scientists) frees up valuable resources to work on more complex business questions that will be instrumental in delivering ambitious growth agendas.
